Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement by 9.92%
  • Increase of apprenticeship pay by 9.92%
  • Increase of board allowances (Zehrgelder) and allowances related to long-term employment by 9.92%
  • More favourable regulations at company level remain unchanged and overpayment confirmed to be continued

Minimum wage / minimum salary
EUR 1,901.62 – wage category of employees in the first three months.

Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 900.42
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,156.84
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,670.99
4th year of apprenticeship EUR 1,799.52

Supplements and allowances
Forklift drivers, semi-skilled workers in wage category 5, temporary employees, night work, work on Sundays and public holidays, dirt, hardship and hazard allowance, allowances related to long-term employment.

Working time
The regular working time is 38.5 hours per week
Supplement for extra hours
: 50% to 150%.

Notice periods
The employment relationship may be terminated as of the end of each working week subject to the following notice period:
  • Employee and employer
    :Employment period with the company of up to six months – one week
  • Employee
    :Employment period with the company of more than six months – four weeks
  • Employer
    :Employment period with the company of more than six months up to more than 25 years – from six weeks to 21 weeks

Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any
arising from the employment relationship with the employer
lapse within five months
unless asserted in writing (although there are exceptions to this rule).
