Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement by 3.35%
  • Actual wages: Overpayments unchanged (parallel adjustment)


Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: EUR 9.84
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 10.23 to EUR 10.99
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: EUR 11.12 to EUR 12.23


Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 620.00
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 750.00
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 950.00
4th year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,150.00


Supplements and allowances
Various supplements for difficult working conditions (e.g. hardship allowances)


Working time
The regular working time is 39 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.


Notice periods
Notice period according to the length of the employee’s employment period with the company:
  • Employee/Employer
    • any time
    • as of the end of the calendar week
    • to three weeks


Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any and all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer lapse within six months unless asserted in writing. If such claims are denied by the employer, an action must be filed within eight weeks. After the termination of the employment relationship, all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer lapse within three months unless asserted in writing. If such claims are denied by the employer, an action must be filed within six months.
