  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 2,383.40 to EUR 2,620.40

Table II applies to apprentices who commence their training after 1 November 1990, after reaching the age of 18 or upon completion of their secondary-school leaving exam.

Supplements and allowances
Dirt, hardship and hazard allowances

Working time
The regular working time is 38 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100% with a base wage factor of 1/142.5.

Notice periods
Notice periods are specified in Section 20 of the Salaried Employees Act (

up to 2 years of employment 6 weeks

after 25 years of employment 5 months
For employees: 1 months

Please note: Expiry of claims
  • Proof of previous employment relationships for the crediting of earlier employment periods – expire after two months
  • Please note that claims to overtime wages must be asserted within four months.
  • Claims to kilometre allowance can expire after two months.
  • Any claims to separation allowances must be asserted within three months.

  • Ten months of parental leave per child is counted towards advancement
  • Duty to retain apprentices for six months after they have completed their apprenticeship
