Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: EUR 1,832.89
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 2,018.11 to EUR 2,325.02

Table II applies to apprentices who commence their training after 1 March 2014 and who after their ninth year of education (compulsory schooling) participated in training, completed pre-vocational training (

Supplements and allowances
Allowances related to long-term employment.

Working time
The regular working time is 38.5 hours per week
Supplement for extra hours
: usually 50%, during specified times 100% or 150%.

Notice periods
For employers:
up to 6 months 1 week
more than 6 months 6 weeks
more than 2 years 8 weeks
more than 5 years 13 weeks
more than 15 years 17 weeks
more than 25 years 21 weeks
For employees:
up to 6 months 1 week
more than 6 months 4weeks

Any claims arising from the employment relationship must be asserted within five months after they arose and/or became known, otherwise the claim expires.
