Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement and of apprenticeship pay by 2.61%
  • Actual wages: Overpayments unchanged (parallel adjustment)


Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: EUR 12.11 to EUR 13.42
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 13.89 to EUR 14.32
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: EUR 14.89 to EUR 16.12


Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 4.20
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 5.60
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 8.40
4th year of apprenticeship: EUR 11.19


Supplements and allowances
Various dirt, hardship or hazard allowances for certain tasks.


Working time
The regular working time is 39 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.


Notice periods
Notice period according to the length of the employee’s employment period with the company:
  • Employee: any time to three weeks, in each case on the last working day of a calendar week
  • Employer: any time to three weeks, in each case on the last working day of a calendar week


Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any and all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer lapse unless asserted within six months. After termination of the employment relationship, any and all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer lapse unless asserted within three months. If such claims are denied by the employer, an action must be filed within three months.
