Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement and of apprenticeship pay by 4.0%


Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: EUR 13.15 to EUR 14.57
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 15.08 to EUR 15.55
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: EUR 16.16 to EUR 17.49


Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 4.58
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 6.14
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 9.15
4th year of apprenticeship: EUR 12.17


Supplements and allowances
Various dirt, hardship or hazard allowances for certain tasks.


Working time
The regular working time is 39 hours per week
.
Supplement for extra hours
: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.


Notice periods
Notice period according to the length of the employee’s employment period with the company:
  • Employee
    : any time to four weeks, in each case on the last working day of a calendar week
  • Employer
    : any time to four weeks, in each case on the last working day of a calendar week


Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any and all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer
lapse
unless asserted
within six months
. After termination of the employment relationship, any and all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer
lapse
unless asserted
within three months
. If such claims are denied by the employer, an
action
must be
filed within three months
