Minimum wage / minimum salary
- Simple tasks: from EUR 9.66 to EUR 9.74 per hour
- Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 10.68 to EUR 13.59 per hour
- Tasks requiring high qualification: EUR 16.98 per hour
Apprenticeship pay
| 1st year of apprenticeship: | EUR 700.00 |
| 2nd year of apprenticeship: | EUR 800.00 |
| 3rd year of apprenticeship: | EUR 1,050.00 |
Supplements and allowances
Dirt allowance Working time
The regular working time is 40 hours per week
.Supplement for extra hours
: usually 50 %, during specified times 100 %. Notice periods
For employers and employees:
| up to 1 year of employment | 14 days |
| after 1 year of employment | 1 month |
| after 5 years of employment | 2 months |
| after 15 years of employment | 3 months |
| after 20 years of employment (only in Lower Austria) | 5 months |
Please note: Expiry of claims
Any claims arising from the employment relationship expire six months after the end of the calendar year in which they arose. Other results achieved regarding socio-political aspects
