  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 2,346.06 to EUR 3,400.92
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: from EUR 3,468.30 to EUR 6,672.59

Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 636.22
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 848.29
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,036.06

Working time
The regular working time is 40 hours per week. For several groups, the working time is governed by Section 14 of the Official Regulations of the Austrian Federal Forests (
) (the working time depends on the nature of the work performed)
Supplement for extra hours: 50% supplement; 100% supplement for overtime during the night; remuneration for Sundays and public holidays: 100% for overtime up to the 8th hour and 200% from the 9th hour

Notice periods
Basically after the end of each calendar quarter
For employers: 6 weeks
after 2 years of employment 2 months
after 5 years of employment 3 months
after 15 years of employment 4 months
after 25 years of employment 5 months
