Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement by 9.71%
  • Increase of apprenticeship pay by 9.71%

Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: from EUR 1,818.52 to EUR 1,823.82
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 1,875.05 to EUR 2,085.50
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: from EUR 2,308.67 to EUR 2,542.34

Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 616.75
2nd year of apprenticeship EUR 783.07
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,112.08
4th year of apprenticeship: (in case of two trades, 4 years in the same company, baker/pastry cook) EUR 1,220.13

Supplements and allowances
Hardship allowance, daily allowance, cash indemnity, supplements for night work as well as work on Sundays or public holidays.

Working time
The regular working time is 40 hours per week
Supplements for extra hours
: 50% to 200%.

Notice periods
1 day as per the end of the working week

Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any claims arising from the employment relationship (e.g. overtime pay, compensation for travel expenses as well as certain allowances and supplements) with the employer
lapse within four months
unless asserted in writing (although there are exceptions to this rule).
